Adams' donation to charity

Every year Adams' makes a donation to a charity chosen by the staff of the company.  

This year Adams’ will be donating a total of € 5000 which will be divided between KiKa, a children’s cancer charity and the Roparun Foundation, a charity dedicated to raising money for cancer sufferers.

KiKa (Kinderen Kankervrij - Cancer-free Children) provides funding for research into improving the treatment that is available for children with cancer. The charity is currently funding more than 50 studies conducted in 7 university medical centres which specialize in treating children with cancer.  For more information about KiKa and the valuable work they do please visit www.kika.nl

The Roparun Foundation organizes a yearly non-stop relay race from Rotterdam to Paris (Ropa being an abbreviation of Rotterdam and Paris - combined). The sole aim of the event is to raise funds for patients suffering from cancer. The total amount raised in 2009 was € 4,685,203.

Adams’ will be sponsoring the Beemstermasters team for their participation in the roparun race.
